GREEN AND GOLD BALL

A PATRIOTIC EFFORT. The Green and Gold Ball which is to be held at the Hastwells Hall on Wednesday, July 24. in aid of the Sick and Wounded Fund, should attract a large attendance as every effort is being made by those in charge to provide entertainment of the most enjoyable type. In connection with the ball a “queen of the ball" crowning ceremony will take place, and this promises to be a particularly interesting event. The Green and Gold Ball committee have all the arrangements complete and the public are assured of a most enjoyable time. Hastwells is noted for the cordiality and thorough character of its gatherings, and it is intended to make next Wednesday's ball the most outstanding feature of recent years.
