WAIRARAPA TEAM TO COMPETE AT HASTINGS. TOMORROW’S CHALLENGE EVENT The following Wairarapa dogs are competing at Hastings tomorrow for a banner presented by the Hawke s Bay Coursing Club for an open challenge match: Mr W. L. Jensen’s White Lie: Mr J. Bradbury’s (N.S.-) Helen Rufus; Mr L. M. Archer’s (N.S.) Democrat; Mr W. Williams’s Orui Girl; Mr F. Butcher’s Full-o-Gay: Mrs B. Mosen’s British Pride; Mrs L. H. Jones s Flying Joe. Mr L. Fulton’s Flying Nell is competing in the Maiden Stake to be run in conjunction with the big event. The local dogs are expected to run well and have a good chance of bringing the banner back. Opposition is likely to) be very strong, howeyer, in open company in Hawke’s Bay and the contest should be a close one.
