Y.M.C.A.

4 CARD PARTY. ENJOYABLE GATHERING. The fortnightly card party conducted by the Y.M.C.A. Ladies’ Auxiliary last night, was well attended, about 70 players taking part in either bridge or fiva hundred. In marked contrast to the cold atmosphere outside, the heated hall provided a comfortable and cheery setting for play. This was the first night of the second series for aggregate prizes, which will be awarded in about two months' time. The prize-winners were Mrs Donelly and Mr R. Baikie in the bridge section and Mrs Cunningham and Mr Gardiner in five hundred. The next card party will be held on Thursday. July 25.
