> LADIES’ AUXILIARY. . MONTHLY MEETING AT MASTERTON. There was a good attendance of ladies at the monthly meeting of the Y.M.C.A. Ladies' Auxiliary, held yesterday, the president, Mrs H. E. Pither, being in the chair. Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames Mackay, Blackwood and Physick. , Accounts amounting to £2 3s lid were passed for payment. It was decided that the services oi the Auxiliary be offered to the Red Cross authorities in connection with the serving of afternoon tea at the Paddy’s Market, to be held on August Members of the Auxiliary expressed their appreciation of the gift of playing cards from Mesdames J. H. Handyside and L. Wylie. . It was decided to leave consideration of plans for the Father and Son Tea and the Children’s Fancy Dress Party until the August meeting. At the conclusion of the meeting, afternoon tea was served by the hostesses for the day, Mesdames Williams and Wadhams.
