PLUNKET SOCIETY
MEETING OF MASTERTON COMMITTEE. DONATION TO KARITANE HOSPITAL. The monthly meeting of the Masterton branch of the Plunket Society was held yesterday those present being Mesdames J. Caselberg (.president), S. L. P. Free, J. D. O’Connor, D. Donald, J. C. Broad, A. H. Falloon, J. V. Gordon, C. A. Carmine, P. Nathan, Sortain Smith, T. Jordan, A. F. Stewart, W. A. Michael, C. T. Richardson. J. M. Coradinc, R. C. Drummond. E. G. Eton. H. H. Daniell, E. G. Norman, T. F. Watson and. R. Miller. Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames N. Irwin, J. James, A. Ericson, T. Wardell, and 1. Bunny. The previous members of the executive were re-elected with the exception of Mrs Watson, who tendered her resignation, which was accepted with much regret. Mrs Gordon was elected to fill the vacancy. Accounts for May, £56 8s 4d, and for June, £63 16s sd, a total of £l2O 4s 9d, were passed. It was unanimously agreed to forward a donation of £lO to Karitane Hospital as the branch’s contribution. A vote of thanks was passed to the headmaster of the Lansdowne School for a gift of a blackboard. the doll presented by Mrs Lenz for competition was won by Mr McKinstry' and added £2 to the funds. The com- 1 mittee expressed its gratitude to Mrs ' Lenz for her gift. !

Blairlogie 3 visits; Riverdale 2 visits. Visits to homes 34. June: Tinui. Annedale, Langdale. Whareama 2 visits; Riversdale and Homewood 1 visit. New case 1. Mauriceville: May, Kopuaranga, Mauriceville East and Mauriceville West 2 visits: Ihuraua Valley 1; new cases 2; visits to homes 19. June: Mauriceville East 3 visits; Mauriceville West 2 visits; Hastwell, Kopuaranga,. Mangamahoe 2 visits; Ihuraua Valley 1 visit. Pre-natal section. May. 20 visits; June, 16. Thanks for the donation of babies’ garments were accorded to Miss G. Greig, Mrs G. G. Laing, Mrs C. A. Cameron. Mrs O. A. Bunny and to Mr Lee for two bags of wood.
