RAINFALL FOR JUNE (“Times-Age” Special.) June, 1940, was the driest month for 25 years, the fall being 114 points, the next driest June being in 1926. when 135 points were registered. The average for 24 years is 3.82 inches. In June, 1940, there were 9 days with rain, the maximum being 25 points on June 9. During this year 17.50 inches of rain have been recorded at Longbush.
