Two trustees were appointed to represent the club in connection with the loan of £lO to the Government, interest free, for the duration of the war. It was decided that the club’s annual dance be held later in the year. The dance on Thursday night in aid of patriotic funds would be held in the Masonic Hall. Invitation holders were reminded of this fixture. Arrangements were well in hand and those who attended were assured of an enjoyable time. An address. I1 L all cows in New Zealand were milked a fortnight later a year that would be sufficient to produce this amount of cheese. Mr McLaren gave some inter*: esting points regarding the activities of: the Production Council. A hearty vote of thanks was carried by acclamation. Mr Neilson, of the Herd Testing Association, is to give a lecture on July 26 on "Improving Dairy Herds, and Genetics."
