CHURCHES UNITE
IN NATIONAL THANKSGIVING. SAFE RETURN OF EXPEDITIONARY FORCE. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 9.50 a.m.) RUGBY, June 7. All the churches will share in national thanksgiving for the safe return of the B.E.F. Approval of this course has been given by the heads of the Church of England, the Roman Catholic and Nonconformist churches. The Jewish synagogues will join in the thanksgiving during the Pentecost feast, next Wednesday and Thursoay.
