BRITISH EMBASSY OFFICER. By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright. (Received This Day, 10.25 am.) LONDON, June 7. Mr Peter Scarlett, first secretary to Sir Lancelot Oliphant (British Ambassador to Belgium) is now a prisoner in Berlin. It is believed that he was captured when attempting to reach England after the occupation of Brussels. There is still no news of Sir L. Oliphant, who, witn two attaches, has been missing since he left Brussels for Ostend.
