HUMAN BIRTH

COMPLETE FILM RECORD. SHOWING LICENSED IN LONDON. An extraordinary American film “The Birth of a Baby” was shown for the first time in London to an audience of doctors, nurses and journalists. After two years the film has been licensed by the London County Council. Public showings will follow, though the London County Council opposes any advertised statement that there will be special sessions for men only and for women only, on the ground that this may cause false sensationalism and attract the prurient-minded. Critics regard the .film as a social document of immense value. Taken in a maternity home, it tells the entire story of the actual birth of a baby.
