TRUST ELECTION
POLLING ON THURSDAY.
FIVE CANDIDATES FOR THREE VACANCIES.
Polling will take place in the Masterton Small Farm Area on Thursday for the election of three representatives on the Trust Lands Trust. Five candidates are standing for the three vacancies. The polling hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The candidates are: Messrs H. P. Hugo, R. Krahagen and R. Page, the three retiring members who are seeking re-election are Messrs E. J. Ester and J. W. Lewis. The polling places are:—Municipal Hall, Mr Phillips’s butchers’ shop. Perry Street; the Epiphany School Room, Short Street; Presbyterian Sunday School Room, Totara. Street, Lansdowne, and Mr E. Woodley's dwelling, Upper Plain. All residents of the Small Farm Area of the age of 21 or over, who have been residents of the area for at least six months are entitled to vote. Provision is made for voting by declaration in the case of a voter who has reason to believe his name should have appeared on the roll.
