PROPOSED IN UNITED STATES. PRESIDENT SAYS REPORTS ARE “COCKEYED.” By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 10.40 a.m.) WASHINGTON, May 24. President Roosevelt said Press reports regarding the possibility of a Coalition Government were “simply cockeyed.” He added, however, that many outsiders might, soon be brought into the Government, to expedite defence preparations.
