The New Zealand House Librarian. Mr Bundekin, representing Mr Jordan, referred to the extremely happy relationship between Maoris and pakehas.

Lord Noel-Bunton said relations between the Maori and pakeha were one of the Empire’s happy achievements, representing the white man's burden at the best level.
