BISHOP OF NELSON
REV P. W. STEPHENSON APPOINTED. (British Official Wireless.) NELSON, This Day. The Rev Percy William Stephenson, M.A., 8.D., of Sydney, has been appointed Bishop of Nelson, succeeding Bishop Hilliard. Mr Stephenson was headmaster of Trinity Grammar School, Sydney, from 1934-1937 and has been Commonwealth Secretary of the British and Foreign Bible Society since 1938.
