DUTCH RADIO STATIONS. RESUMPTION OF TELEPHONE CALLS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. LONDON, May 8. An Amsterdam message states that outgoing international telephone calls will be resumed at 8 a.m. It is officially stated that the suspension was because the Government was using the lines. All the Dutch radio stations are silent NO UNDUE ALARM DUTCH FRONTIER QUIET. BROADCASTS RESUMED. AMSTERDAM, May 8. The Dutch frontier is quiet, but civil life is interrupted as the reservists rejoin the colours. All transport in the provinces has been engaged for moving troops. There is no undue alarm, but there are many manifestations of deep patriotism. The Dutch radio has resumed and all other communications are almost normal. In Berlin official circles emphatically deny that Nazi columns are advancing on Holland. OPINION IN FRANCE CAMPAIGN TO WORRY NEUTRALS. (Received This Day, 9.25 a.m.) PARIS, May 8. A War Office spokesman said the rumours of a German invasion of Holland can be interpreted as a propaganda campaign to worry neutrals. BELGIAN CABINET AN UNEXPECTED SUMMONS. Cabinet was unexpectedly summoned and is believed to be discussing the Dutch emergency measures. A Government spokesman said some of the Belgian troops had been ordered to remain in barracks.
