Following this, Murdie Hancox. on behalf of all ex-pupils, made feeling reference to Mr Simpson’s departure and wished him and Mrs Simpson every happiness and success in their new sphere of life. He then asked Mr Simpson to accept a fountain pen as a token of appreciation of his good work. Peter Craig then asked • Mr Simpson to accept a leather suitcase from the present pupils. Mrs Simpson was presented with a shoulder spray.
