MASTERTON Y.M.C.A.

MEETING OF DIRECTORS. FURNISHING THE NEW LOUNGE. A special meeting of the Board of Directors of the Y.M.C.A. was held this week to consider details of furnishing the proposed new lounge. This room, formerly used for billiards, has recently been repainted and completely renovated. Arrangements are now in hand for the purchase of suitable furnishings. The responsibility for the supply of curtains has been undertaken by the Ladies' Auxiliary. Provision is to be made for reading and writing facilities and it is hoped that the room will become something of a social centre for all members of the association and their freinds. It is the aim of the directorate to make the new lounge one of the most comfortable and attractive rooms in Masterton.
