YOUNG FARMERS’ CUP
PRESENTED TO WAIRARAPA TEAM. SUCCESS AT ROYAL SHOW. Messrs G. Blatchford. H. McKenzie and I. McLaren, the Wairarapa team who won the New Zealand stock judging championship for Young Farmers at the Royal Show in Invercargill, were presented with the Young Farmers Federation Cup by Mr W. F. McLaren at the annual meeting of Wairarapa Young Farmers’ Clubs in Masterton yesterday. Mr McLaren, a past Dominion president. Mr C. Freeman, Dominion Secretary and Mr W. James, Wairarapa president. congratulated the team on winning for Wairarapa the honour of first inscribing its name on this cup as the leading Young Farmers’ Club district in the Dominion.
