BUILDING SOCIETY

WORKMEN'S FRIEND. MEETING OF DIRECTORS. At the monthly meeting of the directors of the Workmen's Friend No. 2 Building Society Mr Wm. Kemp presided, their being also present Messrs T. B. Braggins. A. V. Dixon, E. J. Brown, E. H. Morton, C. W. Walker and A. E. Hubbard. Messrs S. M. Gilding and H. L. Price who were appointed directors in the place of the late Mr F. J. Hunn and Mr W. H. Jackson (resigned), took their seats. ’ Mr Braggins expressed his appreciation of his election as vice-chairman and Messrs S. M. Golding and H. L. Price thanked the directors for appointments to the Board.

The secretary reported the release of two mortgages and that another mortgage was in course of preparation.

It was reported that money was coming in well so that shareholders can expect another appropriation shortly.
