OBITUARY
MRS D. OGILVY. The death occurred yesterday at the residence of Mrs M. R. Johnstone, “Airlie,” Upper Plain, of Mrs D. Ogilvy, widow of the late Mr David Ogilvy, of Masterton. The late Mrs Ogilvy, who was born in Masterton, was 59 years of age. She was a daughter of Mr and Mrs A. A. Elkins, at one time proprietors of the Club Hotel. Masterton. Mr Ogilvy, who predeceased her about eleven years ago, was a well known business man in Masterton lor many years. Following her husband's death Mrs Ogilvy had resided in Wellington. She is survived by two sons, David, in the Royal Navy and Graham, who is employed in the De Haviland Aeroplane Co.. England, and by a sister, Mrs J. P. Lett (Taueru) and by three brothers, Messrs Arthur Elkins (Australia), and Frederick and Alfred Elkins (Parkvale).
The funeral will take place tomorrow, leaving the residence of Mrs Johnstone, Upper Plain, following a service which will, be held at 11.30 a.m. for the Masterton Cemetery.
