McLeod. Kershaw. Colman, Griffiths, Ward, Hewitt and the secretary. Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames Roper, W. B. Martin, W. H. Martin, A. Warren, D. Cameron, Moore, Arthur, Sievers, Ronalds, Campbell, John McLeod and G. Hardy. Mrs Blundell, as Dominion Council delegate, spoke of the Plunket work at the Plunket Rooms at the Exhibition. Up to date the attendance was over 100,000 and the nurses and their assistants have been very busy every day since the Exhibition opened. At the conclusion of the Exhibition the Plunket building and some furniture and toys are to be sold by auction. There arc already 36 Plunket nurses who have enlisted for war work overseas. Annually there are between 60 and 70 nurses who eqter for the Plunket nursing, and at present there are 100 nurses on the waiting list. Babies’ garments were received from Karitane Hospital, Melrose, Wellington, to be sewn and returned to the hospital. Nurse Twentyman gave an interesting talk on Plunket work and its methods for the feeding and care of babies. She also spoke of the visit of Dr Helen Deem, Medical Adviser, and Nurse Fitzgibbon, Nursing Adviser, to Martinborough last week, when about 50 babies under twelve months old were examined. This visit in every way will be a great help to mothers and babies. A vote of thanks to Miss Twentyman was carried by acclamation. MWWMamarMifflfuaiu'wwwMi lr " T »»”-'Wi«iiiininiiiiiu j>u— ■rmmili
