RED STAR FOOTBALL CLUB
COMMITTEE MEETING. A meeting of the committee of the Red Star Football Club was held at the residence of Mr and Mrs S. Henson, Macara Street, Masterton, last night, there being a full attendance of members. Mr R. Milne occupied the chair and extended a welcome to the new members of the committee. Matters in connection with the activities of the club were discussed at considerable length. It was decided to invite vice-presi-dents of the club to attend future meetings of the committee. It was announced that Mr McNicol would deliver an address on football, etc., and give demonstrations, on Monday night, and it was decided to urge upon players the necessity of attending. It was decided that; a practice of all grades be held at the Memorial Park tomorrow. It was resolved to enter four teams for the Wairarapa Rugby Union’s se-ven-a-side tournament. It was decided that the Wairarapa Rugby Union be informed that the Red Star Club is in favour of the formation of a Coaches’ Association. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to Mr and Mrs Henson for the use of their home for the meeting and for having provided supper. ‘
