PATRIOTIC DANCE WOMEN'S INSTITUTE EFFORT. (“Times-Age” Special.) An Institute patriotic dance will be held in the Mauriceville West Memorial Hall on Tuesday. April 30, at 8 p.m. The committee is making a special etioit to ensure that this function is a success, and everybody is earnestly requestea to attend and support a worthy cause. The Mauriceville West ladies aic asked to attend a sewing bee which will be held at the residence oi Mrs. A Forsberg on Saturday afternoon. April 20. at 1 p.m. Members are asked to bring old warm garments suitable to be cut down and sewn for war refugee children. Personal. Mr. J. Mcßae. Ashburton, is staying with his brother, Mr. G. Mcßae. Mesdames G. Osborne and G Nielsen have returnued from a visit to Wellington.
