MAURICEVILLE
TABLE TENNIS CLUB ANNUAL MEETING OF MEMBERS. (“Times-Age” Special.) The annual meeting of the Mauriceville Table Tennis Club was held on Monday evening before a fair attendance. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: —President, Mr. W. H. Cheetham; secretary. Mr. AV. Cheetham. junr.; club captain, Mr. H. Myers; vice-captain, Mr. W. Day; committee, including above and Misses E. Wilkin and A. and J. McGovern; delegate to Wairarapa Table Tennis Association, Mr N. Myers. The season will be opened on Thursday, May 2, when a yankee tournament will be played. As the nett proceeds will be handed over to the Patriotic funds a large attendance is anticipated.
