Territorials Return.
'Phe Masterton Railway Station presented a busy scene on Saturday night when C. Squadron Wellington East Coast Mounted Rifles returned from the annual camp held at Waipukurau. Tusks 28 inches Long. Tusks 23 inches in length were found on a wild boar killed in the Whangamomona district at Easter by Messrs S. Pilkington and W. Ducey, Stratford. It is believed that the previous record tusk measurement of any pig killed in the district was 24 inches. One of Mr Pilkington's dogs, which bailed up the boar, was killed by it. Definition of a Capitalist. A definition of a capitalist was given by Mr .1. Acland. president of the Geraidine branch of the National Party, at tile annual meeting of the branch. A capitalist, he said, was any man who worked hard and put his savings into a home or farm and retained control over those savings. What was wrong in New Zealand was that there were too few capitalists,
