—. —s NORTH WAIRARAPA. RECORD YEAR REPORTED. The directors of the North Wairarapa Permanent Building and Investment Society (Inc.), report a record year since the inception of the Society. New business for the year amounted to £13.650. a net improvement of nearly £lO,OOO on the previous year. Subject to audit the net profit amounts to £1534 8s 6d as compared with £1332 7s 2d for the previous year. The dividend is maintained on A Capital and B and D investment shares at 5 per cent per annum, requiring £1145 12s 6d. The sum of £1093 14s 9d is carried forward as compared with £709 18s 9d brought in at the beginning of the year. The dividend is payable at the conclusion of the annual meeting which will be held on May 14.
