CHURCH OF THE EPIPHANY

LADIES’ GUILD MEETING. MRS WHITTON RE-ELECTED PRESIDENT. The Church of the Epiphanly Ladies’ Guild held their first, meeting for the vear yesterday afternoon in the Epiphany Hall. The Rev T. V. Pearson was in the chair and welcomed the members to the Guild. Mrs F. Whitton was unanimously reelected president. A resume of the past year’s work was given, and plans for this year were discussed. Notice was given of the service to be held in the Church of the Epiphany on Anzac night at 7.45 p.m. when St. Matthew's Choir will render Stainer's "Crucifixion.' Arrangements were pul in hand for a social afternoon to take place in May. The Guild members decided to meet together fortnightly as a body at various members' houses to knit and sew. Afternoon tea was served by Mesdames Braggins and Jackson. New members elected to the guild were Mesdames Adams and W. Thomas.
