ORDER OF FORESTERS

COURT LOYAL ENTERPRISE. MEETING IN MASTERTON. The fortnightly meeting of Court Loyal Enterprise Lodge of Foresters was held .last evening. The Chief Ranger (Bro R. Walker) presided over a good attendance. Bro Walker feelingly referred to the death of an old member of Court Loyal Enterprise. Bro C. Vollheim. and asked members to stand in silence for a few minutes, this being done. Bro H. Smith reported favourably on the sick members, especially mentioning Bro T. C. Morris, who was well on the road to recovery. The C.R. extended the sympathy of the Court to the secretary. Bro G. L. Scrivener, who advised that he was unable to attend owing to sickness, and wished him a speedy recovery. An apology for absence was received from Bro C. W. Perfect. The secretary was instructed to write conveying the sympathy of the court to the relatives of the late Bro Vollheim. and also to Bro J. Clark in the loss ol his mother.

The C.R. spoke in eulogistic terms of the attendance of members at the Centennial celebrations and especially congratulated Bro T. C. Morris who paraded on horseback attired in the full dress uniform of a Forester. The secretary was instructed to write Brc Morris conveying the thanks of members for the part he took in the parade and expressing sympathy with him in his illness. Bro H. Smith was thanked for supplying a banner for use in the procession. Bro C. A. Leigh reminded members that indoor bowls would be played on Wednesday evening. A number of copies of the minutes of the proceedings of the fourteenth triennial meeting and the sixty-eighth annual meeting of the Order held recently in Wellington were received from the District Secretary. The quarterly balance sheet was read and adopted. Sick pay and accounts amounting tc £ll9 16s 8d were passed for payment At the conclusion of business a pleasant hour was spent at indoor,bowls.
