' Abandoning an earlier theory that a mother had murdered her three children and then committed suicide, the police are holding Chloe Davis, aged 11. on suspicion of beating to death, with a claw hammer, her sisters Daphne, aged 10. and Deborah Ann. aged 7. a brother, Mark, aged three, and her ailing mother, after which, it is alleged, she attempted to burn her mother's body.
