Mr. Guy Hume, who left a month ago to join the anti-tank corps in Australia, will now enter the air force. ■ Mr. and Mrs. Warne were recently the guests of Mr. and Mrs. F. Lovegrove. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Busch have been visiting Wellington. Mr. F. Rang! and her son were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Evans, Lower Hutt, for a few days. Mr. E. Bills, Foxton, is slaying with his daughter, Mrs. Longman, Lake Ferry. Mrs. Waiwera and Miss Q. Te Maari have returned from Wanganui. Mr. and Mrs. R. J. McClelland have taken up their -residence at Whangai moana. Among visitors here at the weekend was Mrs. ,1. W. Kershaw, Martinborough.
