Relay after relay of reconnaissance planes is sweeping over the front lines from both sides. Rival patrols frequently met. leading to feverish air battles, the outcome of which is not yet known. British planes reconnoitred NorthWest Germany and the French made numerous reconnaissance flights into the interior of Germany, including a number of daylight flights. The Germans crossed in groups of five, six. eight and ten planes, under the protection of various numbers of fighters.

The Press publishes details of a new Messerschmitt bomber, the "Jaguar.” which is claimed to be able to attack anywhere in Britain. The plane has two engines totalling throe thousand horse power and carries a crew of four. It is armed with heavy and fight machine-guns. FORCED DOWN FRENCH PLANE LANDS IN LUXEMBOURG. MEMBERS OF CREW INTERNED. (Received This Day, 1.1(1 pm) LUXEMBOURG, April 2. A French bomber made a forced landing near Ettelbruch and caught fire. One member of the crew, who was injured, was taken to hospital. Four others were interned.
