MASTERTON SALE
AN AVERAGE YARDING. PRICES AT LATE RATES. There was an average yarding at the Masterton stock sale held this morning. Up to the time of going to press prices were equal to late rates. Bidding was fairly free from a small bench of buyers. Quotations are:—Prime fat wethers. 21s lid to 22s 3d; fat ewes, to 15s 9d; prime fat b.f. lambs, 225. The sale will be followed by a cattle fair this afternoon.
