HOCKEY
WESLEY CLUB. ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Masterton Wesley Hockey Club was held on Tuesday night when 17 members were present. Mr M. Nicol being in the chair. The secretary presented the balance sheet, which was adopted. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: —Patron, M. D. A. Barns; president, M. E. Steer; vicepresidents, Messrs M. Daniel, E. Cody, A. Bell. C. Cole; secretary Mr R. R. Harrington; treasurer, Mr H. Hayes; Club captain. Mr P. Cobb; transport officer, Mr M. Nicol; Delegates to the Wairarapa Men’s Hockey Association Messrs P. Cobb. M. Cole. E. Reeves. R. Harrington.
The subscriptions were fixed at: Senior, 10s; junior. 5s (id: junior B. 4s 6d. The first practice of the season will be held on Saturday, April 6, at the Lansdowne hockey grounds.
