WAIRARAPA COURSING CLUB
TO RUN DERBY AND OAKS. Advice has just been received from the Wairarapa Coursing Club’s delegate in Dunedin that the club has been allotted June 1 and 3 for the running of the Derby and ■ Oaks, New Zealand classics allotted to one particular club by the New Zealand Coursing Association each year. The final tin hare meeting of the year will be held at the Solway showgrounds on Saturday. April 6, and several trial runs already held indicate that the trouble encountered on show night has been completely overcome. Dog owners are reminded that entries close with the secretary on Monday. April 1.
