The district debating contest was fixed for April 18. at the Solway Showgrounds. to be followed by a dance in lhe evening. The annual dance was fixed for August 22. It was decided to hold short talks for the Falloon Cup next December. The following teams were appointed for the district judging on April 18:— Clydesdales, G. Blatchforcl and O. Wyeth; Romneys. A. P. Southey and J. S. Mackay; Southdowns. H. Bannister and D. McLachlan; baconer pigs, W. Benson and W. Ireland; Jerseys. H. Miller and E. Henderson; beef cattle. K. McGillivray and F. Stowell.
