INSPIRATIONAL SERVICE

PROFESSOR ALBISTON VISITS MASTERTON. There was a fair attendance at the special inspirational service held in the Masterton Methodist Church last night, when a welcome was given to Professor A. E. Albiston, President of the Methodist Church of Australasia, who is on an official visit to New Zealand for the Centennial. Visitors were present from all parts of the Wairarapa. On behalf of the parish, the Rev. Fred. J. Parker paid a tribute to Professor Albiston's work for the Church and after extending to him a warm welcome handed over the service to him. Professor Albiston. who is a particularly fluent and powerful speaker, spoke on “St. Paul's Sense of the Oneness of Jesus.” He referred appreciatively to the wonderful hospitality he had received in this country.
