DINNER AT MIDLAND HOTEL ON WEDNESDAY.

CIVIC GATHERING AT OPERA HOUSE LATER.

Members of the Second Echelon on leave in Masterton and district are to be tendered a dinner in the Midland Hotel on Wednesday at 6 p.m., by the Mayor. Later, a gathering will be held in the Opera House at 8 o’clock, to which the public is invited to attend. Men attending the dinner are requested to hand in their names to the Town Clerk not later than 4.30 p.m. tomorrow, so that catering arrangements can be completed.
