ARRIVAL IN LONDON

Mr. Sumner Welles, who has arrived in London, will see Mr. Chamberlain, Lord Halifax and other Ministers and high officials, as well as Opposition leaders and other public figures. It is expected that he will leave for Rome c.ii Thursday.

Mr. Welles arrived by air from Paris escorted by three French warplanes and one British machine.
