MR SUMNER WELLES
ARRIVAL IN LONDON

Mr. Sumner Welles, who has arrived in London, will see Mr. Chamberlain, Lord Halifax and other Ministers and high officials, as well as Opposition leaders and other public figures. It is expected that he will leave for Rome c.ii Thursday.
II is well iindorstoo,'! here that Mr. Welles will have nothing to disclose during his stay in London regarding the impressions he has already formed in Europe.
Mr. Welles arrived by air from Paris escorted by three French warplanes and one British machine.
