Mr Arthur Greenwood (Deputy Labour Leader), in a speech, said Labour would support every necessary step lor the successful prosecution of the war. but would continue to. criticise inefficiency wavering or lack ol foresight. Ho warned Germany not to think that Britain was divided because Labour outspokenly criticised the Government. On the contrary, tile nation was most united and determined io use its full strength to secure the earliest successful conclusion of Hie war.
