NAZI TERRORISM
HORRORS ENDURED BY POLES & CZECHS
SPEECH BY DR. DALTON.
CONDITIONS OF JUST PEACE.
(British Official Wireless.) (Received This Dav. 11.15 a.m.) , RUGBY. March 10. Dr. IT. Dalton, in a speech at Bradford. said: “I have heard, within the last teii days from the lips of Polish and Czech Socialists, from men and women with haunted eyes, unprintable stories of what they themselves have witnessed. Our fate in Britain would be the same as theirs, or worse, if Hitler got us in his power, but after victory must come a real and lasting peace, based on justice between nations, organised international force against any future aggression and the re-shaping of the economic life of the world. We must learn to plan for plenty. Science and the natural wealth of the world have put within our reach prosperity and security for all mankind. To grasp this prize must be one of the first peace aims of the workers of all lands.
