BOWLING WAIRARAPA FOURS MATCH. (“Times-Age” Special.) A rink from Carterton, consisting of C. Larsen, Robertson, Hart and Sorensen (s) played Kilgour, Bunny, Higgison and McLeod (s) the holders of the Wairarapa fours, at Greytown last evening. For the first part of the game the bowling was fairly even but during the latter stages the Greytown rmk proved too good, the final score being 21/11. The final of the club championship pairs was played last evening when F. Dennes and S. C. Shedden defeated T. Connolly and H. G. Carter, 20/19. The Dennes Medal changed hands again when J. Burden beat G. Burns. 22/11. In the Trotman Cup handicap. Burns beat Robinson, 24/14. School Badge & Motto. At the Centennial Dance held at Greytown recently the old students were asked to submit a suitable badge and motto. At the committee meeting held on Tuesday evening it was reported that so far three designs had been submitted. The committee decided to held the matter over for another month. Exhibition Visit. Asked by a member of the School Committee as to the number of children who had not visited the exhibition, the headmaster, Mr S. C. Shedden, replied that there were approximately 150. As further information was required the committee decided to leave the matter till after Easter.
