MASTERTON CLUB EVENTS. FURTHER CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS. There was a fairly large attendance of the public and swimmers at last evening's competitions of the Masterton Amateur Swimming and Life Saving Club. All events were keenly contested. Time 45 l-ssec. 50 yards intermediate girls’ breaststroke championship: A. Stains 1. A. Hanley 2. Time 52 3-ssec. 100 yards men’s freestyle championship: J. Barnes 1. L. Maguire 2. G. Colquhoun 3. Time 68 4-ssecs. The 25 yards ladies’ freestyle championship was not competed for owing to the lack of entries. 25 yards dash: J. Barnes I. L. Maquire 2. T. Burns 3.
