PETROL COUPONS
ISSUE OF REPLACEMENT SETS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day. Provision for the replacement of petrol coupons which have been lost or inadvertently destroyed is contained in regulations gazetted last night. A charge of 5s will be made for the. replacement of coupons, and a statutory declaration will also be required before they are issued. The charge for this declaration will be 3s. The regulations enable the Commissioner of Transport to recall coupons should the occasion arise, and by,way of penalty for a false declaration he may prevent a person from obtaining coupons for the duration of the war.
