OBITUARY

MR J. E. (Jack) DICKASON. The friends of Mr and Mrs C. W. Dickason. Short Street, Masterton. will learn with regret that their second son, John Edward (Jack) Dickason. who was 23 years of age, passed away at the Masterton Hospital early this morning. The late Mr Dickason who was a valued member of the Masterton Football Club, showed much promise as a player, his place-kicking being something out of the ordinary. He was a great favourite with his fellow workers at the Waingawa Works, and with all who knew him. Much sympathy will be extended to the parents, brother and sisters in their bereavement. The funeral will leave the chapel of Hyde's Funeral Service, Ltd., Church Street, tomorrow, after a service commencing at 1.30 p.m. for the Masterton Cemetery.
