ACCORDING TO INDIAN CONGRESS NEGOTIATIONS WITH VICEROY. TERMINATION PROPOSED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. PATNA, February 29. After listening 1 to a 90m imite speech by Mahatma Gandhi, in which he detailed his recent conversations with the Viceroy,, the Working Committee of the Congress Party yesterday decided against, further negotiations with the Viceroy. The committee decided that there was no common ground between England and India, and that Britain's war aims were not applicable to India since Britain was unwilling to transfer her power to the Indian people.
A resolution in these terms is being prepared for submission to the Congress.
