A woman, who tipped the scales at 17 stone, was at the grocer’s shopping. She slipped on a banana skin and then subsided into a crate of eggs. The grocer helped her to get up. “I hope I have not broken them,” she said. “Not at all, madam," was the polite reply, “they’re only a little bent!”
