PRE-WEDDING PARTY MISS J. SADLER HONOURED. (“Times-Age” Special.) A very pleasant evening was spent at the Methodist Hall, Greytown, on Wednesday. The guest of honour was Miss Joan Sadler, who is to be married shortly. The Rev. Howard Harkness spoke in glowing terms of the splendid church work that Miss Sadler had carried out as a member of the choir and on the Sunday School staff. On behalf of her many friends and well-wishers he presented her with a beautiful striking clock. Miss Sadler suitably'replied. Supper was afterwards served by the Ladies’ Guild. Personal Items. Mr N. Dogget, of the Taihape Post Office staff, was in Greytown yesterday visiting old friends. Mr and Mrs Maidment, of Morison’s Bush, have left for Auckland to meet their son, who is a member of the crew of the Achilles.
