Machinegun Practise.
The machinegun shoot to have been held this morning has been postponed, but the practise shoot arranged for Sunday will take place wet or fine. Transport will leave the Drill Hall at 9 o’clock sharp on Sunday morning. Interhouse Glee Club. Membership of the Wairarapa Interhouse Association Girls’ Glee Club is open to any girl employed in a business house in the Wairarapa and is' not confined to girls who have taken part in marching end drill competitions. A fee of one shilling is payable by members, who will have the benefit of being taught to sing correctly. Only a limited membership is required and those who are interested are urged to act immediately. The next practice will be held in the Y.M.C.A. on Tuesday next, February 27. at 7 p.m.. and it will be for only one hour. Intending members are asked to send in their names to Mr D. Costello or Miss N. Snowsill, c/o the W.F.C.A. Ltd.
Major E. E. Barrows will lecture in (he Opera House, Masterton oh Tuesday. February 27 under the auspices of the British Israel Society. By special request his subject will be "The Marks of Grail, the Bible, the flag, the sword, and the soldier,”
