FAREWELL GATHERING 'l’o BE TENDERED MR & MRS NIELSEN. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Mauriceville district Women’s Institute, the Mauriceville-Ihurara Branch of the Women's Division of the Farmers' Union and the Mauriceville District Gardening Circle, have combined and arranged to tender Mr and Mrs H. Nielsen a farewell afternoon at the residence of Mr and Mrs I. Cameron, Mauriceville, on Saturday, commencing at 1.30 p.m. Before Mrs Nielsen left to reside in Featherston she was a very active member in .-ill the above organisations and she will be greatly missed. These organisations request the help and attendance-pf all residents and friends at the gathering. Personal Items. Mr and Mrs T. Neighbours and family were recent visitors to Wellington. Mrs Mortensen has returned from a holiday spent in Palea and Palmerston North. Mrs T. Martin. Christchurch, has returned home after staying a few days with her brother, Mr G. Nielsen. She attended the wedding of her daughter Mavis, to Mr T. Rayner, which look place in Carterton last Tuesday. Mr J; McKenzie, of Wellington, is, visiting Mauriceville West as the guest of Mr and Mrs A. Forsberg. Mr W. IT. Bird has returned from a i visit to Wellington. I
