Two weeks’ holiday leave on full pay have been granted to four members of the staff of the Wanganui City Council who have enlisted with the New Zealand Expeditionary Force. The council also decided that men whe have already left for camp will be granted similar leave. Holidays will accrue while the men are away and will be taken when they are demobilised. In accordance with the desire of the Nev.Zealand Municipal Association the men’s superannuation payments will be paid by the council while they are away.
